drum Hoover DXP 412AIW3/1-80 drum not rotating
Hello everyone,
Yesterday night after finishing the 1st round of clothing, I fill the machine again as always, and after pressing the start button I soon realize the timer was stuck at the initial minute forever.
I found out the issue was that the drum didn't rotate automaticly as supposed.
No warning beep sounds or error codes. The drum simply doesn't rotate.
Although, it's possible to rotate it manually by hand.
What could this be? Broken belt? It worked just minutes before.
See attached video.

Hi. What does it do if you put it on a spin only cycle? Does the drum still not turn?

Hello,
No, the drum didn't rotate automaticly on any mode, but it rotated just as always manually by hand.
I called in a friend and in just 30 minutes he told me it was bad contact in the engine brushes.
Problem solved 😃
Thanks for the update. Yes that's exactly what I was going to get you to check if you confirmed the drum didn't turn on spin either.
