Bosch Exxcel 1400 Express Heater Not Working?
Hi..new to the site so hello everyone. .I have a Bosch Exxcel 1400..for a few weeks its been playin up a bit...missus says it stops midcycle...it wont drain...etc...I have solved the draining by clearing a coke ring in the outlet pipe!!!along with a mass of hairs!!...so it now drains. However it still stops midcycle...and you have to "click it along on the dial" for it to carry on and finish. No code comes up with this on the lcd...However it seems it now doesnt heat up...but it does!!!!..When a cycle is run with a load in...it doesnt heat up..(40/60/90 degrees)..cold glass..no heat at all....but if i run a cycle on empty and select 40/60/90 degrees...it heats up hot !!!!Does anyone know whats happening here...??no heat with load...but heat on empty!!..Much appreciated folks Barry

How long does it stop for? Some washers stop with no apparent action for some time mid wash to allow biological detergents to kick in and get to work. Is it possible the original fault was not emptying and now you are watching it you think it's still faulty? What I mean is have you left it long enough to be totally sure it is stuck?

Could the load add enough weight to somehow disturb a dodgy connection in the wiring to the heater and or stat next to it?

Hi Andy...I know what your saying...yes it does stop mid through to heat the water for a while...when empty!!...but when loaded it doesnt appear to do so...kinda hard to set it going to be sure right now...i ran it last saturday...twice....and seems it doesnt stop "to heat the water" when loaded...will double check and get back.
