Bosch 1400S Keeps Draining Water
Morning all, any help over the following issue will be gratefully received.
Fault with Bosch 1400s – Issue machine starts cycle water enters the drum and then spins two or three times then the pump kicks in and drains the water away and ends the cycle. No error codes are shown. Even if I just put the machine on to spin the water pump starts even if there is no water and after a while the pump stops and ends the cycle.
I have cleaned the pump, checked for blockage in the pressure valve pipe, checked the motor bushes.
Thanks..

How much water goes into the machine before the pump starts up on wash? If it thinks it's overfilling it may energise the pump to drain the water and abort the programme. However, most machines should then indicate an error code either by displaying one or, lighting up specific option button leds or flashing a light in a cycle.
You could try reading this article on overfilling but I can't say for certain it's overfilling. It's just that when a washing machine suddenly starts pumping the water away and ends the programme it is aborting because it thinks something serious like overfilling or overheating is likely to occur. If it was overheating I would expect it to do it a bit later on in the wash cycle after it had been washing and heating for a good while.

If the water level gets up to normal but then aborts, it could still be an overfilling problem. Don't forget the whole point of the abort and drain is to prevent it overfilling. In the old days an overfilling fault would cause a big flood but they can detect it's taking in too much water and abort now.

It looks as if the water intake is normal I.e not over filling. Are there any overfill sensors to look at; its very odd that no error codes are shown.
Thanks
