Beko washer noisy, newish machine

Hi, this is my daughters washing machine that she bought in May of this year, she tells me it has been noisy from the day she got it, I'm wondering if it might have a faulty shock absorber? If it is spun with no load its perfectly quiet, but with any load at all it makes a very irritating rhythmic rattling noise, not the out of balance banging noise you sometimes hear, as a machine starts to spin, but a regular bang which increases in speed with the rotation of the drum and is continuous until it stops spinning.

The machine is less than a year old, so I assume is still under warranty(Curry's) Before we get an engineer from Curry's to look at it, is there a test I can do to check the shock absorber(s)? or can you suggest any other cause? (All transit bolts were removed on delivery)

I am in the dog house because I told her to get a cheap machine because her previous Hotpoint machine's drum bearing went, and had to have a new drum to repair it, which wasn't worth it, so it went to the dump, that was only 3 years old.
